| SEPTEMBER 13, 2023 -- Sept. 16: Wallingford Grange Fair, Noon-6pm, Rain or Shine
We are having an opening ceremony, exhibits, 50/50 raffle to include Chicken Poop Bingo, live music, a children’s section of games, white elephant and vendors. Hot sandwiches will be sold.
In August we collected requested items for the ladies of the USS America.
Our clothing drive ended in great success. Collected from our community were 106 boxes of housewares and 239 bags of textiles, approximately 3123 pounds! If anyone would like to know how and what we did, we’d be happy to share it with you. Just let us know.
We continue to clean and organize. Getting fair ready. Trees were trimmed opening up the front yard so the building is more visible from the road.
Our next monthly meeting, September 14th will be a working meeting for the fair at 6:30pm- all hands on deck!
